Well here it is, I’ve stooped to the blog. I decided that it might be a neat idea to try this whole blog thing out, basically so that I can let others know how things are going with me, and the wife in our ministry.
As it stands now, things are going good. Working with the youth on the west side is always an interesting experience. They have so many different behaviorial patterns then we did when we were that age. But God prevails and works his goodness every week.
We got word yesterday that we will be heading to Quebec Lodge for the summer once we graduate. It’s not a full time placement, but it will be a great experience for us. We will be working as chaplains for the Christian camp for the months of July and August. We would leave around June 25 or so to take part in the counsellor training week. This gives us a chance to get to know everyone.
Once that summer ends, God only knows what’s going to happen for us. We will come back to Saint John, likely giving us enough time to pack up all our stuff and move to the next posting, which hopefully will be a longer term. Usually 2 year contracts I believe. But we will see what happens.
For those who pray, I guess you could pray for paitence as we await graduation/comissioning, as it’s comming in 9 weeks, we are out of the double digits now and it’s coming fast, which means we are all getting very anixous.
You can also pray for those who take care of our placements, that God will give them guidance in decision.
Anyways, thats it for now.
