So I got bored tonight and in some searching learned a lot about light graffiti…. heres my first attempts… i’m a fan.. I look forward to trying some new stuff…
Mothers Day at Your House?
May 11, 2008I’m interested to learn what it’s like in your home. I learned something totally different when I moved to Ontario, because it’s a big thing here… life almost stops on Mothers Day… people have whole days planned, with family and extended family… I found this odd…
In my family, we really didn’t do a whole lot… I don’t know if it was my house, or if it’s an east coast thing??? We would get up early, make mum breakfast, give her her gifts, and then really Mothers Day is over… dad might make supper, but we didn’t do a whole family gathering or anything….
I found out that it was a big deal here because we have our Youth Worship gathering which happens to fall on Mothers Day… almost no one shows up, and I asked “why” and people told me it was because they were out celebrating mothers day….
How do you celebrate mothers day??? Is it a big hoopla, or is it simple??? Is it a simple thing on the east coast, or were we really crappy kids???
