iPhone 3g.. one week later

August 9, 2008

So I’ve had my iPhone 3g for a week now, so I thought I’d drop a note to give my thoughts after having lots of time to play with it and learn its flaws and such.

First thing you must know is, my iPhone is jailbroken, so I can do more things with mine the the average iPhone user, which is great.

The first shock to me was its size.  I’m use to the iPod Touch, which is very thin, so the thickness of the iPhone (maybe one and a half iPod Touches in width) was a shock.  It’s really not that big, its just big compared to the iPod Touch.

Is Today the Day?

June 9, 2008

Well today is the 2008 Apple WWDC Conference.  It’s the conference when Steve Jobs gets up on stage and announces all the new products.  The main prediction that everyone is having this year is the iPhone 2.. which is suppose to be  smaller better cheaper iPhone (there are even rumors of it being cheaper then 200 bucks  I also believe that today they will (oh I hope) announce the iPhone in Canada. There has been a lot happening with Rogers this quarter, emails being received from corprate saying that the “iPhone is coming, we just don’t have a date yet” so I’m really hoping that it’s today.

Will I get an iPhone if they are finally released to Canada?? I’d like to, but it all depends on the price.  I’ve had offers on my iPod Touch from people, so if I’m able to sell that, then I will deffinatley get an iPhone.

Live Updates from Canadian Idol?

March 1, 2008

Hey Everyone,

in the next 15 minutes (its now 2:45am) Jen and I hit the road and head for Hamilton for the Canadian Idol auditions.  If there is wifi in the mall (its the Eastgate Square Mall) I will do my best to do some updates throughout the day to let you all know what happens.  It will likely be some video blogs, unless I just decide to post from my iPod Touch, but that will all depend on whats going on, how loud it is, all that fun stuff.

iPod Dock Revised

December 26, 2007

I have the iHome, I’ve had it since last Christmas (it was a gift from Jen) However the problem with this particular iHome is made for the 1st Generation iPod Shuffle, which means while it has a USB input, you can’t just plug any usb iPod Plug into it, because it wont work. However it does have a line in, where you can plug a cable in to the ipod, and then into the input on the iHome, and it will work.
