Well tonight while sitting around waiting for NO kids to come to my house after spending $40 on candy.. I was searching around on the internet for applications (programs for those windows users who don’t understand Mac language) A common find was people posting their “essential mac apps” basically it’s a run through of the apps (free and paid for) that people use day to day to make their lives easier. So it got me thinking “what are my essential apps”… so I made a list.. Here they are, and I’ll give you a brief idea of what they do, and a link to get you to the site, incase your interested in checking it out for yourself.
Instead of just listing them, because there are a variety of areas I use my computer for, I’ve decided to categorize the apps, so if it is a category that you don’t do, you can just skip over it.
***Please Note***
Not all of these apps are “end user friendly” some of these apps require some technical know how, and if run with no knowledge, you could affect your computer negatively.

So I’ve had my iPhone 3g for a week now, so I thought I’d drop a note to give my thoughts after having lots of time to play with it and learn its flaws and such.
First thing you must know is, my iPhone is jailbroken, so I can do more things with mine the the average iPhone user, which is great.
The first shock to me was its size. I’m use to the iPod Touch, which is very thin, so the thickness of the iPhone (maybe one and a half iPod Touches in width) was a shock. It’s really not that big, its just big compared to the iPod Touch.

Well today is the 2008 Apple WWDC Conference. It’s the conference when Steve Jobs gets up on stage and announces all the new products. The main prediction that everyone is having this year is the iPhone 2.. which is suppose to be smaller better cheaper iPhone (there are even rumors of it being cheaper then 200 bucks I also believe that today they will (oh I hope) announce the iPhone in Canada. There has been a lot happening with Rogers this quarter, emails being received from corprate saying that the “iPhone is coming, we just don’t have a date yet” so I’m really hoping that it’s today.
Will I get an iPhone if they are finally released to Canada?? I’d like to, but it all depends on the price. I’ve had offers on my iPod Touch from people, so if I’m able to sell that, then I will deffinatley get an iPhone.

I’ve been thinking about getting a battery grip for my Nikon D40 for a long time, but, Nikon didn’t make one, so that left me up the creek, so about a week ago, I started to do some ebay research… I find that theres always someone who has what your looking for, and it usually seems to come from Hong Kong… So I searched ebay “battery grip for nikon d40″ what appears, none other than the Phottix Battery Grip from Hong Kong. I paid about 30 bucks for the item, which was great, because usually battery grips around closer to the $200 mark, and I wasn’t going to spend anywhere near that.
