The Time Has Come
April 1, 2008I’ve spoken to many of you in recent months about how I’m day to day on my feelings about working in Centre Hastings. I also shared with some of you that while we were out east speaking at churches, I had a few job offers, some that seemed really good, others that seemed.. well ok. Jennifer and I have been praying for a little over a month now, laying out our fleece (so to speak) on whether any of these jobs seemed to fit us and our call. God has made things very clear to us that the positions in the Saint John area are where he wants us to be… it was just all a matter of time for us…. the position(s) are perfect, because it gives us both a job, as Jen will take one churches YP position, and I the other churches.. I will make sundays hard, but, it just seems like what we are suppose to do.
I spoke with my director with YFC this morning, and we’ve decided that I will finish in Centre Hastings the end of April, and they will do what they can to find a new worker for the area. So, family… one month from today we will be sitting at your doorsteps looking for somewhere to stay until we find a suitable/affordable place in the Saint John area.
To all of my friends I’ve made over the past 3 years, I love you all so very much, we are so sorry to spring this on you with such short notice, we will talk more with you all in the days to come.
